Renaissance Fair

Well, today was a Sunday that for once didn't completely suck.  Me and some friends went to a Renaissance fair just for the hell of it.  There wasn't much to do at the actual fair, but it was by a mountain / beach hiking trail, so we went on an adventure!
Seize the Castle!
I felt bad for all the actors.  It was around 85 degrees outside, and they were in full costumes, some in full suits of armor.
Lady Gweneth and Sir Geoffry Jousting

Anyways, that's it.  And my face hasn't gotten any better thanks to the sun exposure all day.  I just told everyone I had the plague.

Allergy Attack

When I woke up this morning, my face was pretty itchy and it got to the point where I hat to get up and go look in the mirror to see what was up.

This is what I saw.
Foreshadowing mugshot
The entire left side of my face was engulfed in hives.  What's worse is that I had a gig at my old job today, that I had to cancel because who wants a contagious-looking waiter serving them food?

I'm not sure what the cause of the hives are, as the only allergy I'm known to have are to cats (I know /sadface).
There are more blotches on my right arm, but the rest of my body is clean.  I've been taking a bunch of Benadryl tablets and pills, and even rubbing the creme over my face.  The itching is gone most of the time, but it sucks when it starts up again.

Anyways, I hope this crap clears up by Monday so I can go job hunting.

Pokemon

I had an awesome dream last night.  It took place in the subways of NYC, and it involved Pokemon!

Most of the details are blurry, but I clearly remember getting on a train, and the lady sitting across from me transformed into a Ditto.  I was shocked, but when I looked down, I saw that I had a belt with a few pokeballs allocated in it.  Immediately I thought "Fuck Yeah!", and opened up all 6 balls.

The first one was a pikachu, which I was very glad to see, and the only other pokemon that was activated was a bellsprout.  3 of the other 4 pokeballs released real animals.  There was a giant pigeon one, the size of Pidgeot, but NYC style.  There was also a cat, a stag, and the last pokeball, a Toaster.

These pokemon didn't last very long, as on the next stop they all ran away, except for Pikachu.  I remember trying to cath the Ditto as well, but my pokeballs weren't working =[.  Not too sure what happened after that, so here's the Pokerap for you guys!

bi-Monthly Music Video - 2

All righty then, this weeks music video is Fish Heads.   Now remember, it's a Music Video blog.  Emphasis on video, because in this case the music is... well... just watch and see for yourself.
I recommend watching the first 2-3 minutes of this, even though there's no music, it'll make it seem as if when there is, it'll be good.

Feel free to comment your feelings after watching this.  I myself have nightmares with those 2 dudes (or dudettes?) who are dressed in garbage bags or whatever.

And keep in mind, this was released back in 1979, and this is a serious music video.  VH1 even had it on there top 100 music videos countdown.

Fried Oreos

It's been a while since I was last on, but I guess it doesn't matter because I doubt anyone reads this well-edited garbage anyways.
Anyways, last night a friend of mine convinced me to dip oreos in pancake batter, then fry them until they were golden brown on both sides, then eat it.
It was the best thing I ever ate in my life.  I could feel the 500 calories per oreo as they entered my mouth, but I quickly devoured a half dozen before stopping.
What I imagine god would taste like.
After google-ing it later, I realized that this was in fact a common recipe.  Anyways, I encourage you all to try it.  Cant begin to fathom how much better they taste with cannabis.
