Is being anxious and having anxiety the same thing? I dunno... sometimes I just really start feeling that I'm burning daylight, and that I should be doing something with myself that day. It's not like there's really anything to do, and the fact that I'm not pushing myself to do something else enough is starting to make me think about whether or not I'm really trying...
I'm really trying....
Really trying to do what? Am I supposed to do something? No, I'm not supposed to do anything. It's what I want to do... So the real question here is what is it that I want to do that I'm not doing? Does the fact that you were called off work tonight make it any less of a productive night? Would I not be writing in my blog had work not had been cancelled? For all you know this makes it better.
Try not to die.

RIP
It's been a while, I know. I'll try to stay more active but I've been preoccupied with my website which I'll reveal to you guys soon =]
Anyways, This post is entitled "RIP", and I'm pretty much mourning over the death of Linkin' Park. I'm not sure how they went from Gods to what they are today, but the band has officially died for me. I'm not too sad though, everything from Meteora and Hybrid Theory are enough for me to have an eternal satisfaction for them forever. It's just a shame.
And this is the video I chose, because although they now suck, their old stuff will never be...

Bland
Things have been moving pretty slow lately. I mean- I'm not sure. I'm just being like this since it's shitty weather I guess.
So I'll just leave this here.

Art
So I haven't really done anything the past few days. I've just been loafing around at home watching movies here and there, and going through everything in Craigslist. I gotta say, I miss the "erotic services" section they decided to get rid of. God-damn it USA, why do you suck so bad? You market yourself as a "free country" yet nothing is legal or free here.
So instead of boring you with more of my views, here's some recent artwork of mine. All of them were photo's (or several photos) that I took and manipulated.
Enjoi.
Comments are appreciated.

Intersession
So that's it. Summer is officially over, and I couldn't be any happier. It's literally been 500 days of summer, having lived in Brazil this past year. Hopefully along with the longest summer of my life ending, the next chapter can begin, and I can start moving forward again.
I want to study, or at least have a job where I can keep moving forward. Hopefully Financial Aid will work for the next semester, I'm gonna hopefully finish sorting out that crap tomorrow. And Hopefully I'll find a job around here that either pays well, or that I like and am learning most of the time. Just waiting for my face too go back to normal to go looking.
Also, there's this little thing that is coming this week,
Yeah, I'm a huge FF fan, and had no idea until I read about it on another blog. I haven't played XIII yet, but I don't have a PS3 anymore anyways. I'm not sure if I should buy this game, seeing as how I recently quit WoW since i got bored of it. whatever.

Renaissance Fair
Well, today was a Sunday that for once didn't completely suck. Me and some friends went to a Renaissance fair just for the hell of it. There wasn't much to do at the actual fair, but it was by a mountain / beach hiking trail, so we went on an adventure!
I felt bad for all the actors. It was around 85 degrees outside, and they were in full costumes, some in full suits of armor.
Anyways, that's it. And my face hasn't gotten any better thanks to the sun exposure all day. I just told everyone I had the plague.

Allergy Attack
When I woke up this morning, my face was pretty itchy and it got to the point where I hat to get up and go look in the mirror to see what was up.
This is what I saw.
The entire left side of my face was engulfed in hives. What's worse is that I had a gig at my old job today, that I had to cancel because who wants a contagious-looking waiter serving them food?
I'm not sure what the cause of the hives are, as the only allergy I'm known to have are to cats (I know /sadface).
There are more blotches on my right arm, but the rest of my body is clean. I've been taking a bunch of Benadryl tablets and pills, and even rubbing the creme over my face. The itching is gone most of the time, but it sucks when it starts up again.
Anyways, I hope this crap clears up by Monday so I can go job hunting.

Pokemon
I had an awesome dream last night. It took place in the subways of NYC, and it involved Pokemon!
Most of the details are blurry, but I clearly remember getting on a train, and the lady sitting across from me transformed into a Ditto. I was shocked, but when I looked down, I saw that I had a belt with a few pokeballs allocated in it. Immediately I thought "Fuck Yeah!", and opened up all 6 balls.
The first one was a pikachu, which I was very glad to see, and the only other pokemon that was activated was a bellsprout. 3 of the other 4 pokeballs released real animals. There was a giant pigeon one, the size of Pidgeot, but NYC style. There was also a cat, a stag, and the last pokeball, a Toaster.
These pokemon didn't last very long, as on the next stop they all ran away, except for Pikachu. I remember trying to cath the Ditto as well, but my pokeballs weren't working =[. Not too sure what happened after that, so here's the Pokerap for you guys!

bi-Monthly Music Video - 2
All righty then, this weeks music video is Fish Heads. Now remember, it's a Music Video blog. Emphasis on video, because in this case the music is... well... just watch and see for yourself.
I recommend watching the first 2-3 minutes of this, even though there's no music, it'll make it seem as if when there is, it'll be good.
Feel free to comment your feelings after watching this. I myself have nightmares with those 2 dudes (or dudettes?) who are dressed in garbage bags or whatever.
And keep in mind, this was released back in 1979, and this is a serious music video. VH1 even had it on there top 100 music videos countdown.

Fried Oreos
It's been a while since I was last on, but I guess it doesn't matter because I doubt anyone reads this well-edited garbage anyways.
Anyways, last night a friend of mine convinced me to dip oreos in pancake batter, then fry them until they were golden brown on both sides, then eat it.
It was the best thing I ever ate in my life. I could feel the 500 calories per oreo as they entered my mouth, but I quickly devoured a half dozen before stopping.
After google-ing it later, I realized that this was in fact a common recipe. Anyways, I encourage you all to try it. Cant begin to fathom how much better they taste with cannabis.

Requiem for a Dream
So it's been a couple of days since my last post, so I thought I'd talk about a movie I saw while I was out.
Requiem for a Dream. I'm sure you've all heard of it. It starts the lead singer of 30 Seconds to Mars (I forgot what his name was, but he has some damn nice eyes) and Jennifer Connelly (who's in an "anal-to-anal" scene O.o)
Anyways, onto the review.
Words can hardly describe the experience of watching this powerful film. It's about different forms of addiction, and it pulls no punches in its depiction of the inevitable downward spiral of its four main characters. Not only should you see it for the message, but for its cinematic inventivness. Visually, It's hard to compare other movies to it. The only one that vaguely come to mind is Trainspotting. The cinematography, sound, editing, music and visual effects are top-notch and will blow your mind.
The acting honors here go to Ellen Burstyn, who gives an incredible performance as the poor, naiive Sarah Goldfarb. Watching her deterioration (both mentally and physically) is heart-wrenching. Burstyn gets great support from the rest of the cast as well, particularly Jared Leto (See, I remembered his name) and Jennifer Connelly. Also, those familiar with Marlon Wayans' comedy roles will be very surprised with his subtle, convincing portrayal of enterprising heroin addict Tyrone.
The last 20 minutes of this wonderful, haunting film will leave you on edge as the storylines of all 4 characters climax simultaneously (hahaha, you pervs)
Anyways, as I mentioned before the soundtrack in this movie is simply amazing. Here's the signature theme of the movie

Progress
So last night my friend Jay and I decided to pull an all-nighter in celebration of me having quit my job. We just ended up drinking and watching Transformers 2 until we went for breakfast at Dunkin Donuts.
After staying up the entire day until now, I feel normal, but I know my head hits a lag spike every now and then. I seem to have a lot of trouble communicating is all. I even forgot what I was gonna write about today, and just came up with this crappy entry last minute. Sorry guys =[
I'm not sure how much longer I'll be.

Intervention / Unemployed
So I was hanging out with my friend yesterday, and while we were out, he went into a few places trying to get a job. Now, this may seem like a normal thing for most people that are unemployed, but this kid gave up 420 two months ago and has been clean since.
I remember whenever we used to hang out before, it'd mostly include smoking, CoD, and evading our parents, now it seems as if he's definitely turned things around.
He told me that I should stop smoking, as it'll "lead to more opportunities", and I'm still unsure about it. I definitely think I should cut down though. Your thoughts?
In other news, I'm really stoked, because tonight is my last night working at the dreaded Catering Hall I hate so much. I decided to quit because I need a full time job, and I gave 2 weeks notice 2 weeks ago. It's gonna be nice to blaze with the guys from work after our shift once more (which'll be like 2am).
So I'll start with the "smoke less" thing tomorrow.

Weekly Music Video
So I thought I'd start a weekly music segment that I'll post every Wednesday, with music that sounds amazing by itself, and even more-so when your blazed.
This is our first week, and so it only makes sense for my favorite song to trip to, to be showcased. It's a song by the "downtempo" duo Zero 7, from their album Simple Things, featuring vocals by Sia Furler.
I originally ran into this song 4-5 years ago on Lacoste's website, only to have it emerge in the back of my head a few years later. I'm glad I rediscovered this song. It's great to listen to when you want to be in a relaxing mood, and it's the first song in my Trip playlist, as it acts as a segway into the really weird stuff I have on my Zune.
So without further ado, Destiny

Cannibis Cookbook Review
Today I'm going to review my new favorite book, the Cannabis Cookbook by Jim Pilcher (There are a few other books by the same title, but written by different authors). I ran into this book when I was at Urban Outfitters. I will admit that the book section is my favorite section of the store, and thumbing through this book made me want it enough to walk out of the store with it without paying.
The Cannabis Cookbook is not just a well put together cook book, but an entertaining guide detailing the Cannabis plant through history. This book is full of great recipes, but there aren't any measurements for the amount of cannabis to be used.
I didn't have many ingredients around my house so I was stuck making special brownies. I'm not sure if they tasted spectacular, because while they were getting baked, so was I.

My Salvia Experience
So tonight, your going to read about my first major psychedelic Experience, on Salvia. It all started after my brother and 2 of his friends smoked 10x in my room while i supervised to make sure nobody died. As the three of them took one hit each and passed the bong, they broke out into uncontrollable laughter shortly after. Now, this wasn't the same laughter as the first time you got high off weed. They were almost choking, taking huge breaths whenever possible with much difficulty.
After about 10 minutes of them bugging out and trying to communicate but speaking some new language unfamiliar to me, they were back to normal. After hearing about what they experienced, I quickly went online and ordered 60x.
One week later it arrived, and though we were saving it for the next day, I decided to take "one tiny hit"...
After inhaling it and holding it in my lungs for about 5 seconds, my vision became blurry, and after a short laugh, I fell off my chair and landed on my side. The entire trip for me was on my side. I forgot that I was tripping, and I thought my body became immobilized. As the world around me changed into some weird toy story meets country type shit, I felt as if I was part of a zipper. I was one of the prongs, and the rest of the zipper wanted to close, but I wouldn't. My brother was in the room with me, and he just kept shouting "you need to let go", but in my trip, it was the other zipper prongs telling me to accept my fate and to close.
I was a renegade... It was a scary trip, and I look very forward to my next trip on salvia.

Vintage Video
So I was on youtube and I ran into this old-school video about drugs and pollution and whatnot.
I thought it was hilarous and I'd like to share it with you all.
Note the beautiful actors and well thought out reaction shots. Also note the token black student's voice, and the teachers Mexican accent when she says' Marijuana.

Whenever, Whatever... (A post about LSD)
My new blog, and my first entry...
Now, what should it be about.... I know!
LSD!
LSD can make you trip balls or whatever, but whenever you do it, dont forget about the psychoemotional effects.
This next part is an excerpt from Wiki (which is also an excerpt, but I checked out the citations and their good.)
"LSD's psychological effects (colloquially called a "trip") vary greatly from person to person, depending on factors such as previous experiences, state of mind and environment, as well as dose strength. They also vary from one trip to another, and even as time passes during a single trip. An LSD trip can have long-term psychoemotional effects; some users cite the LSD experience as causing significant changes in their personality and life perspective. Widely different effects emerge based on what Timothy Leary called set and setting; the "set" being the general mindset of the user, and the "setting" being the physical and social environment in which the drug's effects are experienced. Diablo Valley College Professor Dr. Ken Kesey once told a group of students that LSD changed his life forever after dropping (consuming) acid for the first time, he realized that the intense psychological impact to his brain led the inspiration for his novel One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest."
