Weekly Music Video

So I thought I'd start a weekly music segment that I'll post every Wednesday, with music that sounds amazing by itself, and even more-so when your blazed.

This is our first week, and so it only makes sense for my favorite song to trip to, to be showcased.  It's a song by the "downtempo" duo Zero 7, from their album Simple Things, featuring vocals by Sia Furler.

I originally ran into this song 4-5 years ago on Lacoste's website, only to have it emerge in the back of my head a few years later.  I'm glad I rediscovered this song.  It's great to listen to when you want to be in a relaxing mood, and it's the first song in my Trip playlist, as it acts as a segway into the really weird stuff I have on my Zune.

So without further ado, Destiny

My Salvia Experience

So tonight, your going to read about my first major psychedelic Experience, on Salvia.  It all started after my brother and 2 of his friends smoked 10x in my room while i supervised to make sure nobody died.  As the three of them took one hit each and passed the bong, they broke out into uncontrollable laughter shortly after.  Now, this wasn't the same laughter as the first time you got high off weed.  They were almost choking, taking huge breaths whenever possible with much difficulty.

After about 10 minutes of them bugging out and trying to communicate but speaking some new language unfamiliar to me, they were back to normal.  After hearing about what they experienced, I quickly went online and ordered 60x.

One week later it arrived, and though we were saving it for the next day, I decided to take "one tiny hit"...

After inhaling it and holding it in my lungs for about 5 seconds, my vision became blurry, and after a short laugh, I fell off my chair and landed on my side.  The entire trip for me was on my side.  I forgot that I was tripping, and I thought my body became immobilized.  As the world around me changed into some weird toy story meets country type shit, I felt as if I was part of a zipper.  I was one of the prongs, and the rest of the zipper wanted to close, but I wouldn't.   My brother was in the room with me, and he just kept shouting "you need to let go", but in my trip, it was the other zipper prongs telling me to accept my fate and to close.

I was a renegade...  It was a scary trip, and I look very forward to my next trip on salvia.
